Welcome to Kookaburra Stitches, where you will find Cross Stitch Designs and Kits with an Australian Theme. Also, new to the site, we are now including designs with other themes. These include designs with Scottish themes, and Art themes. Watch closely as new categories are added in the future.
The designs have been created by myself, Linda Millar, and most of them have been stitched by either myself or someone else here at Kookaburra Stitches, to make sure they all work successfully. I live on the banks of the Brisbane River, in Queensland, and my designs are inspired by flora and fauna I observe in my garden, and elsewhere in Australia. Before coming to live in Australia in 1989, I lived in Scotland, where I was born, which is why I felt it appropriate to include my Scottish inspired designs.
I am constantly working on new designs, and shall be adding them to the site as they become ready.
